The VoicePen is incredibly intuitive and easy to use.  One battery lasts about 8 hrs. (recording) and 6 hrs. (playing).  The LCD panel displays message number, number of messages recorded, recording time elapsed and battery life remaining.  Listen with built-in speaker, single earphone (included), or connect the Voice Pen to a pair of external speakers using the line-out cable (cable included).  With the VoicePen you can also save and store voice recordings as a .wav files in your PC.
